VOLUNTEER PROGRAM PROCEDURES
2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR
 

CIMS cherishes our parent volunteers, recognizing their invaluable role in fostering a strong connection between school and home. Understanding the significance of this symbiotic relationship, we invite our families to join us in furthering our shared goals. Interested in getting involved? Here's how you can contribute... To become a Volunteer with the Victor Valley Union High School District, you must have a valid Driver’s License or State issued ID, be fingerprinted by the FBI and DOJ and a clear TB test.


STEPS TO BECOMING A VOLUNTEER
1. Pick up Volunteer Program Request Form at site in which you wish to volunteer, or fill it out hereprint it and drop it off at our Family Engagement Center.
2. Our Family Engagement Liaison will then have it signed by the  Principal.
3. Return form to Kristina Smith, Human Resources, by appointment ONLY at the District Office, Building 1, 16350 Mojave Drive, Victorville, CA.
  • Schedule an appointment by calling (760) 955-3201 ext. 10209 or by email at ksmith@vvuhsd.org
  • Be sure to bring a valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID and Social Security Card. You will then have an appointment made to get your TB (If you don't already have one) and fingerprinted. 
  • Picture for ID Badge (after clearances are received and you have been contacted to return to the district offices to finish the process).
