Students interested in a building trades career shouldn’t miss VVC’s free information session for their Construction-Apprenticeship Readiness Program on April 22. The morning session is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. and the evening session is planned from 6-8 p.m.

Training begins on June 17.

This grant-funded program exposes you to the Building & Construction industry and helps you become competitive for trade apprenticeship opportunities. 

Program Eligibility:
18 Years or Older
Right to Work Documents
California Driver’s License
Registered with U.S. Selective Service
Assessment (7th grade Math)
Intake Interview

Training Includes:
150 Hours of Training
CPR/First Aid Certification
10-Hour OSHA
Multi-Core Craft Curriculum (MC3)
16+ Hours – Physical Agility
Visits to local training centers

Pay begins at $13-$26/hr. upon completion as a registered apprentice. Jobs include:

Electricians •       Plumbers/ Pipefitters
Carpenters
Glazier & Glass Workers
Operating Engineers/ Operator
Pavement/ Highway Maintenance
Roofers
Teamsters
and more…

COURSE 4: 7/29/2019 – 8/21/2019| Monday thru Friday | 7AM – 3:00PM
